Homemade condensed milk

Condensed milk is used in making a lot of desserts. It can replace the use of sugar in a recipe while enhancing the flavours and making it taste rich. It tastes so good that you can eat it as it is too. Try making it at home and you will love it more

Just a few ingredients and a quick blend, that is all it takes to make this creamy, delicious and yummy condensed milk

Makes... 300 ml
Usage option... In making desserts 

This is what u'll need....

Milk Powder - 4 tbspn
Butter - 1 tbspn
Powdered sugar -  3 tbspn
Water - 1/4 to 1/2 cup

Here is the stir....
  • Measure milk powder into a mixie jar
  • Spoon in some butter
  • Add powdered sugar to the jar
  • Boil water in a pan. Add 1/4 cup of boiling water to the jar. Blend it till smooth

  • If it is too thick then add little more boiling water and blend again
  • Be careful when blending ass it will be pretty hot
  • Cool the mixture and then transfer it to a clean glass jar. Refrigerate and use when needed
  • If it becomes too thick after refrigeration then add a little boiling water and whisk a little to get desired consistency

  • Make sure you use boiling water
  • It might thicken upon refrigeration. Use a little hot water to thin it out
