Maida biscuits are a fun snack for kids. Pull in a few ingredients and you are good to go. Make and store them in an airtight container and the kids can pick a handful whenever they want to. They would love to munch on these small biscuits. Its is very easy to make except that it takes a lot of time for frying
Serve option... Room temperature
This is what u'll need....
Maida - 1 cup
Cornflour - 1/2 tspn
Powdered Sugar - 3 tbspn
Oil for dough - 1 tbspn
Oil for frying

Here is the stir....
- Mix flour, corn flour and powdered sugar into a bowl
- Add a tablespoon of oil
- Use little water and mix it all together. Knead it into a stiff dough
- Take some dough and make it into a small round. Dust the working surface with flour and place the dough on it
- Roll out the dough into a thick chapathi
- Use a bottle cap to cut out the shapes
- Heat oil in a pan
- Put the cut biscuits into the oil in small batches and cook in on medium flame
- Fry it on medium flame until golden
- When done scoop them out and drain on paper towels
- When it comes to room temperature transfer it to an airtight container
- Leave it to the kids to enjoy whenever they want to
Note:
- Adding cornflour gives it a nice crunch
- Adjust sugar to suit your taste
- Fry it on medium flame. If the flame is on low, biscuits may take in too much oil. If the oil is too hot, they brown very fast
