Vanilla cake is simple to make and pleases everyone at anytime. I love it cause there is not too many ingredients in it which keeps the flavours simple. Everyone in my family loves it so this is always a goto recipe. Nowadays I am fan of the mug cake version too
Just put all the ingredients in a cup, give it a good mix and microwave it. Voila... simple, easy and yummy cake is ready in no time

This is what u'll need....
All purpose Flour - 3 tbspn
Sugar - 2 tbspn
Milk - 3 tbspn
Vanilla essence - few drops
Baking soda - 1/8 tspn
Baking powder - 1/4 tspn
Cashews - 3-4
Sugar - 2 tbspn
Milk - 3 tbspn

Baking soda - 1/8 tspn
Baking powder - 1/4 tspn
Cashews - 3-4
Here is the stir....
- Measure flour into a microwave safe mug
- Spoon in sugar into the mug
- Pour a few drops of vanilla
- Add 1/8 tspn of baking soda
- Pour 1/4 tspn of vinegar into the mug
- Spoon in 2 tablespoons of oil
- Measure 3 tablespoons of milk into the mug
- Break cashews into 4 and add it (optional)
- Mix everything together and make it smooth with no lumps
- Top it with a few more cashew pieces(optional)
- Microwave it for about 2 mins. Mine took about 1 minute 40 seconds. It depends on the microwave power. So keep an eye when baking
- Serve warm and dig in
Note:
- Adjust sugar to suit your taste
- You can use baking powder instead of baking soda+vinegar
- Cashews are optional. I love nuts so always throw a few into my vanilla cake
